Our office is closed for non-urgent procedures and non-urgent patient visits through April 21 as directed by the Louisiana State Department of Health to postpone non-urgent surgeries that are medically safe to postpone. Our doctors are reviewing every referral to ensure a postponement is in fact safe. These surgeries include squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, melanoma in-situ, and thin melanomas less than 1mm deep. This also includes atypical moles, cysts, lipomas and other benign skin growths.
We are still accepting referrals and are scheduling surgeries to resume on April 22. If you are a patient who had a surgery scheduled during this time that we are closed, you will receive a call to reschedule. If you are a new patient who has been received for surgery, you will also receive a call to schedule in the future.
