The Skin Surgery Centre’s Dr. Keith LeBlanc Named a Health Care Hero for 2017

For the second year in a row, the Skin Surgery Centre’s Dr. Keith LeBlanc, Jr has been selected as a New Orleans CityBusiness Health Care Heroes Honoree for 2017, again placing him among the top medical professionals in the Greater New Orleans area.

Dr. LeBlanc, recognized for his work in providing state-of-the-art skin care to residents in southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi as well as for his commitment to community involvement, has become the area’s leading expert on skin cancer and treatment. He the only Mohs surgeon (skin surgery for cancer) in Louisiana to be accredited by the MD Anderson Physicians Network. Dr. LeBlanc first earned the distinction of being a Health Care Hero in 2016.

Since 2007, New Orleans CityBusiness recognizes 50 Health Care Heroes annually to honor deserving health care leaders in the New Orleans area. Honorees are selected based on industry achievement and community involvement that have set the pace for the overall community. The recognition program also places its main emphasis on nomination letters received from the community.

The Skin Surgery Centre, now with locations in Metairie and Mandeville, Louisiana, and Biloxi, Mississippi, provides state-of-the-art facilities for surgical and cosmetic treatments to maximize the health and appearance of skin.
